POCO plans another major step in its global expansion and will soon unveil a new model POCO F7.

After the successful launch of the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra models, the base model of the series is also on the way. According to reliable sources, it will make its global debut in the third week of June. The most likely launch dates are June 17 or June 19, with the same timeline expected for the Indian market as well.
Redmi Turbo 4 Pro as the base for POCO F7
POCO F7 will be a global version of the Chinese model Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, but some minor changes are expected. The device will get a flat 6.83-inch OLED LTPS display with 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
In terms of design, you’ll like the metal frame, which will boost the overall premium feel in your hand. Performance is handled by an entirely new chipset Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, paired with up to 16 GB RAM and internal storage of up to 512 GB.
This processor is among the best in the mid-range, and combined with a high-quality display, the POCO F7 will be ideal not only for everyday use, but also for demanding games or multitasking. The storage size is equally impressive—above standard for this price category.
A massive battery, but with different sizes
The device will be available in two variants depending on the market. While the Indian version will get a battery up to 7550 mAh, the global POCO F7 will come with a slightly smaller one, a 6550 mAh battery. Both variants, however, will offer 90 W fast charging, ensuring you can top up the power in just a few minutes.
Despite the smaller capacity on the global version, you can still expect excellent battery life. Combined with an efficient chipset and system optimization, the smartphone should handle an entire day of active use without any issues.
Cameras, system, and more
POCO F7’s camera setup includes a 50 MP main sensor paired with an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, there will be a 20 MP selfie camera, delivering great shots even in worse lighting.
The camera equipment suggests that POCO F7 focuses on practical use—ideal for everyday photos and sharing on social media.
The operating system will be powered by the latest Android 15 with HyperOS 2.0, offering a smooth user experience and plenty of customization options. You can also look forward to features like an IR blaster for controlling home appliances, as well as high water and dust resistance thanks to the IP68/IP69 certification.
High expectations
The POCO F7 model will be an attractive choice for anyone looking for a powerful smartphone with a flagship display, great battery life, and a modern design—without investing in the most expensive flagship phones. POCO is once again showing that the mid-range can stand out and deliver features you’d normally expect in a higher price tier.
