Under this panel, there’s an ultrasonic fingerprint reader that won’t disappoint you with its speed or accuracy.

A 120 Hz refresh rate ensures smooth, fluid navigation through the system, while the maximum (peak) brightness of 3200 nits delivers enough light even in demanding outdoor conditions. There’s also a 2560 Hz touch response and support for displaying 68 billion colors.

Performance is completely uncompromising. The heart of this model is the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which outperforms all its rivals in its price category.

According to the manufacturer, this processor achieves an impressive score in the AnTuTu Benchmark of 2,843,461 points, guaranteeing exceptional performance even with demanding apps and games. A dedicated chip, VisionBoost D7, also helps with that.

The manufacturer also compared this score to a much more expensive model, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, and it is up to 400,000 points higher—with both phones sharing the same chip. It’s likely that optimizations were made on the side of the cooling system, which is labeled LiquidCool Technology 4.0 in this case, and it’s a 3D dual-channel IceLoop system with a huge surface area of 5400 mm².

POCO F7 Ultra thus becomes the first device from this brand equipped with a modern chip made using 3 nm manufacturing technology. This power will be especially useful in games. Even the high, 120 Hz refresh rate can be actively used without any software limitation.

Finally, high-quality cameras—also on POCO

For photography, the manufacturer decided to equip POCO F7 Ultra with a 50 MPx (f/1.6) main camera with a Sony sensor. There’s also a telephoto lens with a resolution of 50 MPx (f/2.0), which is optically stabilized, supports macro shots from a distance of 10 cm, and its optical zoom reaches 60 mm, while in-sensor zoom is supported up to a focal length of 120 mm.

More is available: a 32 MPx (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field of view. The photography setup is more than capable – it covers multiple aspects that the right smartphone should meet. On the front, there’s a 32 MPx “selfie” camera. So logically, it’s the best camera system yet on the POCO smartphone.

50W wireless charging on POCO

A 5300 mAh battery comes with extremely fast charging—up to 120 W HyperCharge wired charging, or 50 W wireless charging. So, according to the manufacturer, you can charge the phone in just 34 minutes with a cable, while the wireless alternative allows a full charge in 75 minutes.
