Xiaomi’s Chinese sub-brand, Redmi, also offers several unique smart TVs in its lineup. This time, the manufacturer is preparing its new, up to 100″ smart TV with exceptional specs and a powerful 16 W audio system.
The Redmi smart TV will have a screen size of up to 100 inches
The Redmi brand entered the smart TV segment in China already a few years ago. Smart TVs from this manufacturer were released on both the Chinese and the Indian markets.
And it still brings new models too, such as those from the Redmi TV X 2022 series. The series was unveiled in October 2021, and the model Redmi Smart TV X43 was then introduced in India in February 2022.
What’s more, the manufacturer is also preparing another surprise. Available leaks suggest that we may also see a revolutionary, up to 100-inch Redmi Max model. This upcoming TV has appeared on the certification websites Bluetooth SIG as well as on 3C.
It has passed certification and will deliver quality 16 W audio
A new smart TV from Redmi received Bluetooth SIG certification before its market launch. This is a smart TV with the model number L100R8-MAX, and it also appeared in the database under the name Redmi MAX 100″ Giant Screen TV. The model should be a direct successor to Redmi Smart TV 98″ Max, a 4K smart TV that was put on sale during 2020.
After about two years, the company is preparing to launch another premium model with a massive display. The upcoming 100″ model should include Bluetooth 5.0. However, this certification, besides the type of Bluetooth connectivity and the device name, reveals little else.
Luckily, the same model appeared under the matching name in the 3C certification as well. This certification revealed that it will feature a display panel with a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Since the previous 98″ model was initially launched only for the Chinese market, we expect the same scenario for the new 100″ TV too. As for integrated features, we expect improvements in the audio and video areas.
Just like the 98″ model, with the 100″ diagonal we can look forward to 4K resolution. The setup should also include a powerful audio system with power of at least 16 W, and on the software side the functions of this smart TV will be handled by Xiaomi’s operating system PatchWall.
The design of the Redmi novelty should correspond to its predecessor, but we expect a high price, above 2400 €, for which the previous 98″ generation with a 12 nm processor and dynamic backlight zones is currently being sold.
