The new Redmi Monitor 27″ 2K Pro is one of the cheapest 2K monitors on the market. It has an IPS display and an adjustable stand

Besides the new Xiaomi 4K monitor, we also got a more affordable 27″ model from the sister brand. Redmi Monitor 27″ Pro offers 2K resolution, 100% sRGB spectrum, and a low selling price.

New Redmi Monitor 27″ Pro: Offers 2K resolution and 100% sRGB

The new Redmi Monitor 27″ Pro directly builds on the previous 27″ Redmi Monitor model. That one was officially unveiled back in August 2021. This Pro version this time brings an elegant design with a matte black color finish. It measures 613.3 x 193.4 x 512.4 millimeters and weighs 5.2 kilograms.

Another advantage of the used design is the ability to rotate by 90° or the thin bezels around the screen. It comes with a 27″ diagonal, IPS LCD technology, and crisp 2K resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels).

The display will offer a 100% sRGB spectrum, and it was also certified by TÜV and SGS for low blue-light output and reducing eye fatigue during long-term use.

The screen brightness is capped at 300 nits, and you also get a slightly increased refresh rate of 75 Hz. The monitor has contrast 1 000 000 : 1 and a response time of 6 ms. As for connectivity, in this case you have HDMI 1.4 available, but also DisplayPort 1.2, as well as a 3,5 mm audio connector.

Price and availability of the new Redmi monitor

The Redmi Monitor 27″ Pro model is currently starting to be sold in the domestic Chinese market. However, we still don’t know about international availability, and until that happens, we’ll have to make do with offerings from well-known international retailers.

In any case, the official Chinese retail price is set at 1599 Chinese yuan, which currently comes to 223 €/ 251 USD. The Chinese manufacturer, though, decided to offer the monitor at an introductory and discounted price of 1399 Chinese yuan, i.e. 195 € / 220 USD.
