The launch of the Redmi Note 11 series for the global market is just around the corner. Every day we learn new details, and now it’s time for the base model Redmi Note 11.
Another model revealed
A Redmi Note 11 4G smartphone appeared on the websites of Philippine e-shops. It will be sold with a Qualcomm processor, so Redmi is bringing back MediaTek chips for the global version.
The design will be very similar to the Chinese version and won’t have as sharply cut edges. That may make it look a bit less stylish and modern, but we have to remember it’s the base model from the new series.
The retail package was also revealed — it’s very similar to what we saw with the Redmi Note 10 model. The only difference is the picture showing the smartphone.
Redmi Note 11 4G specifications
From this package, we got a look at almost all the specifications. Up front will be a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate.
It will be powered by a Snapdragon 680 with a 6-nanometer manufacturing process. The main camera will have a resolution of 50 MPx; an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor will come alongside it, plus two 2-megapixel sensors for macro shots and background blur.
A 5000 mAh battery can be charged with up to 33 W. Thankfully, the manufacturer won’t skip stereo speakers either. The smartphone will arrive with the Android 11 operating system preinstalled and you’ll also get the new version of the MIUI 13 overlay—of course in the global release.
The price is great
The Redmi Note 11 version offering 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of storage is, according to a Philippine shopping center, priced at 8999 Philippine pesos, which is about 155 euros.
The whole series for the global market will be unveiled on January 26 at 13:00 local time. Make sure you follow our website, because right after the conference we’ll bring you our detailed article with all specifications and prices.
