Redmi held a press conference in China in September 2023, where the brand itself unveiled several products at once. And part of the thirteenth generation of the Redmi Note series is also the Redmi Note 13 Pro, which will offer up to a 200 MPx camera.
Redmi Note 13 Pro: Here are the technical specifications
The thirteenth generation continues to set trends, and sharp edges are complemented by a distinctive module with three rear cameras. Redmi Note 13 Pro will come with dimensions of 161.15 × 74.24 × 7.98 mm. And the weight of this device then comes to 187 grams.
The front side is home to 6,67″ LED a display with high 1,5K resolution (2712 x 1220 pixels, 446 ppi), maximum brightness up to 1800 nits and a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The smartphone also features extremely thin bezels around the display, only 1,85 mm (top), 1,3 mm (on the sides) and 2,27 mm (bottom). The selfie camera sits in a cutout in the display, and the panel is covered with Gorilla Glass Victus.
A new Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 and 67 W fast charging
Performance is handled by a processor from Qualcomm, specifically the new model Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, built on a 4 nm process. The chip is also paired with 12 / 16 GB of RAM and 256 / 512 GB of internal storage.
On the back, you’ll find a trio of cameras, with the main one offering a resolution of up to 200 MPx (Samsung HP3, f/1.65) and even optical image stabilization in combination with electronic stabilization. There’s also an ultra-wide 8 MPx sensor and a 2 MPx macro sensor.
The big advantage is the built-in stereo speakers, as well as a 3,5 mm audio jack, an infrared port, Wi-Fi 6 technology and Bluetooth 5.2. For mobile payments, the device uses an integrated NFC chip. The fingerprint sensor is built under the surface of the display.
In this case as well, Android 14 is available on the software side, along with the manufacturer’s MIUI 15 custom interface. A battery with a 5100 mAh capacity will support 67 W fast wired charging via a USB-C connector. So you’ll reach full capacity in just 44 minutes.
Price and availability of the new Redmi smartphone
Besides the design changes, we already know the price and availability of the new Redmi Note 13 Pro smartphone. Here are the individual configurations that will go on sale in the Chinese market:
- 8 + 128 GB for the announced 1399 Chinese yuan (about 180 €)
- 8 + 256 GB for the announced 1499 Chinese yuan (about 192 €)
- 12 + 256 GB for the announced 1699 Chinese yuan (about 218 €)
- 12 + 512 GB for the announced 1899 Chinese yuan (about 244 €)
- 16 + 512 GB for the announced 1999 Chinese yuan (about 257 €)
