The Roborock S7 comes in two basic versions. The standard S7 or the S7 MaxV. The main difference between these two models is the presence of AI and advanced obstacle avoidance for the MaxV variant. But the Roborock S7 also doesn’t have to be ashamed of its performance or specs—quite the opposite.
The Pro Ultra variant means that, besides the robot vacuum itself, you also get a special redesigned emptying station. It can collect not only the dirt the robot has picked up, but also refill clean water into the mopping tank, and even wring out the mop cloth.

The robot automatically saves a new map based on where it has been, working together with what its radar sees. Thanks to that, it moves around the room faster and more efficiently.
Other smart features also include the ability to control the vacuum via the app, and support for Google Assistant. The maps the robot creates are automatically saved, so you can create or edit rooms, different suction or mopping areas, virtual walls, no-go zones, and more.
The app even offers up to three map types: a standard 2D map with a top-down view, a 3D map that renders the entire room, and a special Matrix map that lets the vacuum navigate precisely. The maps in this vacuum are at a very high level and can accurately identify furniture. Need to clean only around the bed? No problem—just send the vacuum there.
In addition, you can now set the cleaning method separately for each room. For example, for the kitchen you can choose maximum suction power along with the most effective mopping, while for the living room you can pick a gentler cleaning style. There’s also a feature called “routines,” so for example after cooking you can always have the vacuum clean the kitchen with one click.
There are really plenty of different settings and features here. In the app, you can see exactly where the robot is, where it has already been during cleaning, and where it’s going next. Since it constantly learns and improves the saved map, it works faster and more efficiently.
If you have a multi-floor home, no problem. Just lift it, take it upstairs, and it will save a new map. When you put it back, it will automatically detect where it is. This works for every floor.
