The coronavirus pandemic has left its mark on the tech world too. Manufacturers responded and brought us various gadgets for disinfecting electronics, jewelry, and also different disinfecting lamps.
A new product appeared on Xiaomi Youpin crowdfunding platform in the form of a small USB lamp made by the 59S brand. This brand specializes in sterilization with LED light.
Minimalist design
The 59s USB lamp is truly small and compact. Its dimensions are just 383 × 70.8 x 18 mm and the weight is only 73 g. The design is minimalist and at first glance it looks like a standard USB LED desk lamp.
The lamp arm is flexible, and you can bend it in any direction. That way you can aim the light exactly where you need it.
Good and healthy lighting
The 59S USB lamp features 12 LED lights that provide enough illumination for the area you need. You can even set up to 5 brightness levels using the physical button on the top of the lamp. Its maximum power is 5 W.
The most interesting part of the lamp, however, is the 5 UVC LED bulbs. Thanks to their ultraviolet radiation, they can disinfect items and the area covered by the light. This way it helps you get rid of germs and bacteria, and it can even eliminate Covid-19.
But that’s not all. This small, handy lamp also offers up to 4 disinfection levels. On top of that, it has a proximity sensor that stops the sterilization mode if someone is nearby.
The price is excellent
The price of this great compact lamp is 99 yuan, which is roughly 12 € / 14 USD. As you can see, the lamp is truly affordable for everyone.
59S USB lamp is currently available only on the Youpin crowdfunding platform. However, we expect this to change quickly and it will soon show up in listings from well-known global retailers.
We’ll of course keep an eye on it and update you. The only thing you need to do is keep following us on our Facebook or Instagram.
