Today we received new information about the details of the built-in cameras.
Megapixels aren’t everything, but the CC9 Pro will also have other great features
Just to recap, let’s summarize what camera combination the penta camera will contain – the way this camera setup is usually called in the upcoming Xiaomi CC9 Pro smartphone.
Let’s start from the top:
- 5 MPx OV08A10 super-telephoto sensor, also known as a periscope sensor with optical four-axis stabilization, which offers 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and 50x digital zoom
- 12 MPx portrait sensor S5K2L7 with a large lens 50 mm with a pixel size of 1.4 microns. It supports dual autofocus PD and has an aperture of f / 2.0
- 108 MPx Samsung S5KHMX sensor - the primary camera with quad-axis optical stabilization. This is a 1/1.33-inch sensor with an aperture value of f / 1,7
- 20 MPx Sony IMX350 ultra-wide-angle sensor with a field of view of 117 degrees

New details about the sensors also brought one fantastic feature that two out of the five cameras on the back will have. It’s quad-axis optical stabilization and we’re sharing a short video that nicely shows how it works.
Although we’ve already published information about the front camera in the Xiaomi CC9 Pro, the company only today officially confirmed what type of camera it will be. It did so by releasing a new promotional poster.
The poster confirms that the smartphone will come with a 32 MPx front camera. It will support wide-angle shots, Portrait mode, and approximately 12 different types of filters.

Its design and photographic equipment should be the same as with the CC9 Pro. However, some other parts of the equipment may differ. It was rumored that both smartphones will be rebranded versions of the Xiaomi CC9 Pro phone intended for the Chinese market. Part of that is true and we already know that the Mi Note 10 series is indeed meant for the global market and will be officially announced November 14 / November in Poland
Today it’s already November 1 / November, and we’ll learn all the details in just five days, when the press conference in China will take place. Xiaomi will present there not only a new smartphone, but also new smartwatches Mi Watch, a new series of premium TVs Mi TV 5, and a portable air conditioner.
