Xiaomi is well known for its diverse range of products. They make great smartphones, smart TVs, and TV boxes, and for some time now there’s been talk about a Xiaomi Mi TV Stick device they’re working on.
We’ve already written about this new release here, but now detailed specs have leaked for it.
Mi TV Stick leaked
A well-known global retailer, Gearbest, has already added the Mi TV Stick to its catalog. That means we can see its anticipated price and basic specs.
Since we work with Gearbest directly, we asked them about the accuracy of the specs and they confirmed to us that they’re indeed real.
What’s more, the product should be available in sales in 3 to 4 weeks.
The Mi TV Stick will come in black and in very small dimensions of just 9.50 x 3.50 x 2.00 cm, with a weight of only 85 grams. So it’s a truly tiny and compact device.
Its inside will be powered by a 4-core processor Amlogic S905 Y2. You can also find a similar one in Mi Box S.
Graphics will be handled by the ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. Xiaomi Mi TV Stick will also feature 8 GB internal storage capacity and DDR4 RAM with 2 GB capacity. That’s a pretty solid performance for a device of this size.
System and connectivity
The Xiaomi Mi TV Stick will run on the well-known operating system Android 9 TV, designed to turn your regular TV into a smart one.
With Android, you also get the ability to download games and apps directly from the Google Play.
You don’t need to worry about the language either, as it uses a multi-language system where Slovak or Czech should not be missing. The device will also get dual-band WiFi and a newer Bluetooth 4.2.
4K, HDR, and 60 fps
The Xiaomi Mi TV Stick will support 4K resolution at a frame rate of 60 fps. Even better picture quality will be delivered by HDR technology, so you can enjoy beautiful colors.
It also supports DTS-HD and Dolby Stereo audio. The lineup won’t miss HDMI 2.0, support for Netflix, USB Type-C, and voice assistant control.
Leaked preliminary price
The price isn’t listed directly on the page, but you can find it in the search results. This is a preliminary price set by the seller at just under 75 €.
We believe, though, that once it’s officially presented, the price will be lower and, thanks to coupons, the Mi TV Stick will be a great deal. Be sure to keep following Xiaomi Planet so you don’t miss anything from the world of Xiaomi.
