On the Xiaomi Youpin website, another interesting Xiaomi aquarium has appeared again. In the past, we’ve already written about the smart aquarium that you can control using your mobile phone.
However, this model stands out especially for its minimalist design and a waterfall right inside.
It’s available in two sizes
The Geometry brand takes care of making smart aquariums, and we’ve written about its products many times already. Products from this brand have also made their way to the well-known Xiaomi Youpin portal, through which sales take place in China. Xiaomi is thus supporting interesting and high-quality products from other Chinese manufacturers.
The new aquarium is made exclusively of glass, with only its bottom part made of plastic. The rounded edges of the stand base and the tapered frame create a nice minimalist effect. The aquarium is available in two sizes.
The larger one measures 384 x 300 x 320 mm and has a volume of 30 liters. The dimensions of the smaller one are 384 x 225 x 240 mm, with a volume of 15 liters.
High-quality lighting
It also includes an LED light with a 180-degree lighting angle. The lighting will cover the entire aquarium completely, without any dark corners. So at night, you can enjoy a perfectly lit aquarium.
Perfectly transparent glass will take care of a great experience when watching your fish. The LED light and the waterfall system itself can also be easily removed for maintenance.
The waterfall itself, as well as the water purifier, have a very quiet operation. The high-efficiency filtration system handles all bacteria and dirt without any problems. This system cleans and, at the same time, oxygenates the water very quickly and effectively.

The price of this new aquarium starts at 289 yuan, which is about €36 / 42 USD. The larger 30-liter model is sold for 329 yuan, which is €41 / 48 USD. Currently, it’s available only on the crowdfunding platform’s page YouPin.
However, it’s very likely that it will start being sold on international retailers’ websites soon. We’ll closely monitor availability and keep you informed.
