For 2026 Xiaomi is significantly reshuffling its TV lineup and sending the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 2026 series to the global market. These are 4K QD-Mini LED models available in five screen sizes: 55 / 65 / 75 / 85, and even massive 98-inch versions.

New this year builds on last year’s generation and brings higher performance in the bigger versions, improved connectivity, and modern gaming features. If you’re a fan of a large picture with high brightness and smooth motion, this is exactly the segment you’ll want to check out.
Great picture with QD-Mini LED and brightness up to 1200 nits
All models use QD-Mini LED technology with a 4K 3840 × 2160 px resolution. The manufacturer claims a maximum brightness of up to 1200 nits, which is a very solid value even for watching HDR content in a bright room.
The displays feature 880 local dimming zones for deep contrast and vivid details. Each zone can be independently brightened or dimmed depending on what’s on the screen. In practice, this delivers a noticeably deeper black level, higher contrast, and less of the light bleeding around bright objects on a dark background.
The more local dimming zones a TV has, the more precisely it can control brightness in different parts of the image. Combined with QD technology, it means more vibrant colors, better shadow and highlight details, and an overall more realistic HDR experience—especially with movies and series that have strong contrast.
Color coverage reaches 94 % DCI-P3, and support for HDR10+, HLG, and Filmmaker Mode is included. Larger models also add Dolby Vision. What’s interesting is the split of the refresh rate. Models 55, 65, and 75 inches offer a standard 60 Hz panel with MEMC for smoother motion at 4K 60 Hz.
However, the bigger 85 and 98-inch versions go further and bring native 144 Hz, along with 4K 144 Hz support via HDMI 2.1. That makes them ideal candidates for next-gen consoles and gaming PCs as well.
Google TV and broad connectivity support
The operating system is Google TV, so you get access to all the major streaming services. Built-in Google Assistant is a given, with Google Cast support and Apple AirPlay as well. Sound is handled by 2 × 15 W speakers across all models, while the 85 and 98 inch versions also support Dolby Atmos.
Smaller screen sizes come with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0, while the larger models get newer Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. There are also differences in the ports. The 55, 65, and 75-inch models have 2 × HDMI 2.0 and 1 × HDMI 2.1 with eARC support. The 85 and 98-inch versions offer up to 3 × HDMI 2.1 with VRR and 4K 144 Hz support.
More powerful hardware in the larger models
The entry models use a quad-core Cortex-A55 processor, 2 GB RAM, and 32 GB storage. That’s enough for everyday Google TV use. The more interesting options are the 85 and 98-inch versions, which get a more powerful Cortex-A73 processor and 3 GB of RAM, which can mean smoother system performance and better handling of demanding apps.

The design is also slightly different. The 98 inch model has a metal frame and stand, with a weight of over 50 kg. It’s really a massive piece of tech that needs enough space and quality wall mounting with a standard 600 × 500 mm.
Price and availability
Official prices haven’t been released yet, but if Xiaomi sticks to a similar pricing policy as last year’s generation, it could be one of the most interesting price/spec value ratios again in the Mini LED TV segment for 2026.
