Xiaomi has finally brought NFC payments back to an affordable fitness band. The new Smart Band 11 already has a Slovak price— which banks does it support?

Quick summary

  • Smarty sells the basic and NFC version in three colors.
  • Both are available to order; the shipping date is not yet known.
  • Payments go through Xiaomi Pay, not with every bank.

Smart Band 11 has arrived in the Slovak store. Smarty offers it in the base version for 57 € and with NFC for 70 €. Xiaomi introduced the bracelet in early September in China, and at the end of the month it also added it to the global website. We covered the global version in a separate article.

The biggest change is NFC. Smart Band 10 didn’t have it in the global version, so anyone who wanted to pay with the band had to go for the more expensive Smart Bande 10 Pro. Xiaomi launched this one in Slovakia in May with a starting price from 79 euros. Eleven with a chip will cost less.

How much will you pay and when will you get it?

Compared to the predecessor, the band has noticeably gotten more expensive. We saw Smart Band 10 in a European warehouse for 36 euros; the eleven without NFC costs 20 euros more. In Czechia, the jump is similar.

Both versions come in black, silver, and rose. For all six items, the status shows “available to order” and store 14.10. One customer was told that restocking is expected next week—i.e., on a date after 19.10.

You’ll pay via Xiaomi Pay, but not with every bank

On the support page, Xiaomi explains how to add a bank card to the bracelet. It’s done in the Mi Fitness app via Xiaomi Pay. Between two payments, it recommends waiting 3 to 5 seconds; otherwise the terminal may repeat or reject the payment. In Smarty’s description there’s only card access emulation at 13.56 MHz, and only for unencrypted cards.

In Slovakia, Xiaomi Pay is supported by 365.bank, mBank, Prima banka, Slovenská sporiteľňa and VÚB, plus the Curve card. Support varies by device. The overview is from November 2025, so the 11 is missing from it. Before buying, check with your bank whether you can add the card to the bracelet. Otherwise, NFC will only be useful for door chips.

The cheaper Active is available right away, but it’s a different band

Smarty also sells the Smart Band 11 Active for less than 30 euros. Unlike the eleven, it’s in stock. However, it’s weaker. Active has a 1,47-inch TFT display; Smart Band 11 has a larger 1,72-inch AMOLED with brightness of 1 500 nits.

The Active has a bigger battery instead—300 mAh versus 233 mAh. For steps, heart rate, and phone notifications, it’s enough as well. If you want to pay with a band or get a better display, you’ll need to wait for the eleven.

Ceramic and the all-metal version are missing for now

Smarty doesn’t list a white ceramic Pearl White edition, even though Xiaomi showcased it on the global website. What makes it different from the standard version is the ceramic frame and glass. It’s also heavier: the body weighs 21,45 grams, while the NFC version weighs 16 grams. The all-metal version is currently only available in China; elsewhere, Xiaomi doesn’t mention it at all.
