AliExpress has published an November sales calendar, and for Slovaks and Czechs it means two things. This year, the biggest sale of the year, 11.11, will start already on November 1, last 18 days, and you can start preparing for it from Thursday, October 29. AliExpress doesn’t specify the exact discount percentage for Slovakia and the Czech Republic, and the event is called “Mega deal, more for less” for us.
AliExpress November sales calendar
This year the sales are split into two big parts. The first is 11.11, which AliExpress has extended over the entire first half of November, and right after it comes Black Friday together with Cyber Monday:
- warm-up: from Thursday, October 29 to Saturday, October 31,
- 11.11: from Sunday, November 1 to Wednesday, November 18,
- Black Friday: from Thursday, November 19 to Monday, November 30,
- Cyber Monday: from Monday, November 30 to Thursday, December 3.
AliExpress lists times in California time, which is eight to nine hours behind us. That’s why deals here don’t start at midnight, but only in the morning between 8:00 and 9:00, and the last day of the sale lasts until the next morning. During the ramp-up, it’s worth filling your cart and wishlist so that on November 1 you only need to check the prices.
What “more for less” means for Slovaks and Czechs
For each country, AliExpress states what advantage it promises during the sale. Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and almost the entire European Union including Germany, Poland, and Hungary all have the same description: “Mega deal, more for less”. In loose terms, it means big promotions where you get more for less money. Elsewhere the promises are more specific: in several non-EU countries, for example Japan and Australia, AliExpress offers discounts of up to 80 %, and in Sweden you can save on customs duty.
What exactly is hidden under our description, AliExpress hasn’t clarified yet. The name suggests that it will be more cost-effective to buy more items at once, similar to the October promo Duty Covered, where AliExpress covered new customs duty when buying at least three items. However, this is only our estimate—once AliExpress publishes the details, we’ll update you.
What changes compared to last year
Last year, November had three separate parts. First, from November 1 to November 8, the Mega Choice Day ran; the actual 11.11 sale started only on November 11, and after nine days it was replaced by Black Friday on November 20. This year, the standalone Choice Day is missing from the calendar; 11.11 runs without a break starting from the first day of the month, and Black Friday begins one day earlier. We don’t know the coupons yet
AliExpress hasn’t revealed discount codes or coupon limits yet. As of October 22, our database on Deal Planet shows zero active codes for Slovakia or any other country—more can be found in the article about disabled coupons. Last year, coupons for 11.11 ranged from €3 with purchases over €15 up to €110 with purchases over €799.
