Lu Weibing, CEO of the Redmi brand, however, still doesn’t stop sharing partial details about the new phone’s specs. On his profile on the Chinese social network Weibo, he confirmed that the new K20 will be equipped with a 3.5 mm jack for connecting headphones.
It seems that even inside Redmi they have a weakness for this connector. Thanks to the 3.5 mm jack, it’s possible to simply connect a wide range of different headphones. Custom sound effects and the used amplifier ensure high-quality audio output. The device has also recently gone through the Hi-Res Audio certification process.
Besides headphone sound quality, speakers are also the place where developers focused. The new Redmi K20 phone will be equipped with the largest ultra-linear speaker 1217, which is equivalent to a 0,9cc speaker, similar to the one on Xiaomi Mi 9.
This time, the volume has been significantly improved, and the effect during gaming is truly exceptional. It’s compared to the performance of external Bluetooth speakers. Redmi is confident that thanks to the high-quality speaker (or headphone) sound, the new model will be very popular.
