Sunday for Xiaomi fans means a new installment of our original regular article series What Xiaomi is working on. After a short two-week break, when the release of products was on pause even for Xiaomi, new products are finally here.
This week was packed with plenty of news, and besides the Mr. Bond smart clothes dryer, folding umbrella, WC brush, or the new Mi WiFi Mesh Router, we also got 6 more new releases. Let’s dive in.
Momoda massage glasses
An interesting new release this week is a massage device for your eyes. Yes, you read that right. Even your eyes can now get a massage. Behind these massage glasses is the Momoda brand, which makes smart massage devices like smart chairs, for example.
Momoda massage glasses in a crowdfunding campaign on the YouPin platform received almost 850% of the funding goal. More than 8,400 customers supported the product. In China, its price was set at 299 yuan, which equals €39 / 1000 CZK (approx.).
Massage glasses from the Momoda brand are the 337th product on the YouPin platform. The purpose of the device is to use massage to relieve eye fatigue. They’re suitable, for example, for people who work with a computer.
The massage is provided by air cushions with pressure similar to a human hand. Multi-frequency vibrations are also included. The manufacturer states that for perfect eye relaxation, you only need a 15-minute massage every day.
The glasses have 6 built-in air cushions that circulate air with a pressure of 60 kPa. The built-in vibrating motor reaches up to 160 vibrations per second. It works on 11 eye points, thereby stimulating the eye meridians.
And there’s more: the integrated graphene creates a temperature of up to 40°C, making the massage even more pleasant. After turning on the heating function, the warmth arrives in just 5 seconds. Massage at this temperature improves the blood circulation in your eyes, and the eye muscles are much more relaxed. Helps relieve eye pain and swelling.
The glasses feature three massage modes – Soft (relaxing), Med (slow), and Hard (fast). The inside of the glasses is lined with very soft leather, comfortable and gentle on human skin. Plus, the 3D design of the eye grooves solves the problem of eye pain with traditional massage devices.
The glasses themselves have a folding 180-degree design, which makes them very portable and easy to store. Even better, the glasses have built-in speakers that eliminate outside noise and provide perfect relaxation with gentle music.
An integrated battery with a capacity of 1100 mAh provides up to 2 hours of continuous massage. Charging is done via a standard microUSB connector. In the box, besides the cable and manuals, you’ll also find a practical pouch for carrying the glasses.
MINI massage device for knees
Another massager on the YouPin platform. This time from the MINI brand, which focuses on medical and health needs. The new device is designed to relieve pain in your knees, elbows, or arms. Just place it on the body part and turn it on.
A 3D pillow inside ensures perfect contact with the entire surface of the massaged body area. The massage device allows you to adjust the intensity or the massage pressure, as well as to control the temperature from 45 to 55 degrees Celsius, which should make the massage even more effective. The heating is provided by 19 infrared lights that penetrate deep into the muscle, relaxing it.
It features a large LCD screen with the option to choose from three massage modes and it also shows the usage time. The massage lasts 15 minutes. Of course, the device is wireless—it has a built-in rechargeable battery, and charging is done via a USB Type-C connector.
In China, it was priced at 499 yuan, which is roughly €65 / 1680 CZK. Xiaomi MINI massager is already available on the well-known marketplace AliExpress. The seller, Volemer High-end Life Tech Store, offers it for 119 € / 3015 CZK (click here), which is double the original Chinese price. Over time, the price will certainly drop.
Yijie electric broom with a mop
A product that was introduced earlier, but we haven’t shown it to you yet. The electric broom with a mop is the work of the Chinese Yijie brand, while Xiaomi is responsible for the marketing. And the result is impressive.
So far in the promotional campaign, it has managed to collect an unbelievable 3900% more than the original target. The product has already been preordered by almost 78,500 customers. With a price of 99 yuan, i.e. 13 € / 335 CZK, we’re not surprised by such massive success.
You can also find this product offered on AliExpress or Banggood under the name Xiaomi Yekee YE-01 Smart Electric Mop, although the price is again much higher — €39 / 1020 CZK. The Xiaomi Yijia electric broom with a mop is made of ABS plastic. Its size is 270 mm x 170 mm and it weighs only 1 kg. On the bottom side, it has rotating brushes powered by a motor with a performance of 1300 rotations per minute. It runs on a battery with a capacity of 2000 mAh.
Like every real smart product from 2019, this broom also has a USB Type-C connector for charging. It takes 3 hours. After a full charge, it lasts for 2 hours of cleaning. The power button is located at the bottom and is meant to be pressed with your foot.
The waste bin capacity is 350 ml, and you can empty it easily by pressing the button on the back, which releases the flap. The package includes 30 cleaning wipes that attach to the bottom. The broom also has a mop function. In the box, you’ll also find a cleaning brush with a tool to remove tangled hair.
Nextool 9 in 1 multifunctional pliers
If you follow us regularly, you already know about those Xiaomi multifunction pliers. They offer up to 16 tools, and we covered them in this article. Xiaomi, in cooperation with the Nextool brand, is bringing a new model of pliers—this time a cheaper one with 9 tools.

The new multifunction tool measures 133 mm x 40.5 mm and is made of 30CR13 steel. It can handle both low and high temperatures. The tool includes 9 different functions and can work as: a knife, pliers, wrenches, a saw, a file, and a screwdriver with both a cross and flat tip. The attachments are included in the package.
Enojy Life smart vertical fan SS4
Here’s how the name of the next Xiaomi novelty on the e-commerce platform roughly sounds in translation. The product is brought to you by Enjoy Life, a brand with a fitting name that makes products to make our lives more enjoyable. A smart vertical fan is now added to the lineup, alongside an air fryer, a handheld steam iron, and an air dehumidifier.
It could be a cheaper alternative to Mijia smart vertical air conditioner. In mainland China, it costs 599 yuan, which is about €80 / 2000 CZK. Enjoy Life’s smart vertical fan is a completely different type of fan than what we’re used to.
Its vertical design has no blades. Instead, it adopted a turbo-blower technology that draws air from underneath and creates a high-speed, strong air stream. The air flows through the outlets in roughly a 90-degree dispersion. The fan includes up to 11 blowing speed settings.
Since it’s a smart product, you can control it via the Mi Home app. In the app, you can adjust the blowing intensity and also schedule when the fan starts. However, the fan also comes with a separate remote control.
The fan is made from ABS plastic, which is durable and long-lasting. Its weight is 2.4 kg and it is 96 cm tall. Thanks to its low weight, it’s easy to carry. The product is not available from any international retailer yet.
Amazfit quick-drying T-shirt
The latest novelty comes from Xiaomi’s subsidiary, known as Huami (Amazfit), the company behind fitness bands like Mi Band and top-tier smartwatches. For sports enthusiasts, it now offers a quick-drying thermo T-shirt.

The new Amazfit T-shirt is made from 55% nylon, 27% polyester fiber, and 18% spandex. A special yarn structure speeds up heat dissipation and also helps keep your body dry. The materials used provide a soft texture, better stretch, and unrestricted flexibility.
The T-shirt features a round neckline, which reduces friction around the neck. Laser perforation in the underarm area helps dissipate heat. On the back, there’s a reflective logo to improve safety for fans of night-time sports.
