Global versions of Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max appeared in the first European discount shop! What are the prices?

Xiaomi hasn’t announced the date of the global launch yet, but one store in the European Union already has Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max in its catalog. The Italian e-shop Epto added them with prices, colors, and main specs, and also included a launch discount right away.

A launch discount before the phone can actually be bought

On all items there’s a sale tag and a crossed-out price. Xiaomi 18 Pro with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage costs after the discount 1 398,90 € instead of 1 549,90 €, and the 512 GB version 1 591,90 € instead of 1 761,90 €. Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has only one configuration at Epto: 12 GB and 512 GB, which after the discount comes to 1 783,90 € instead of 1 974,90 €.

The discount is roughly 10 % for each version, and the store will add even up to 350 € more if you trade in your old phone for their buyback and have the store’s loyalty card. But for now, you can’t buy anything because for every item it says “In arrivo”, which in Italian means the goods are on the way. Pro Max with 256 GB, which appeared in one of the older leaks, isn’t listed in the catalog.

GSMArena also found a few Pro Max listings in white and red with different model codes that were slightly cheaper, at just 1 761,90 €. However, in the screenshot from Notebookcheck, all Pro Max colors show the same 1 783,90 €, so the store is likely still adjusting the prices.

Original price is above the leak; the sale price is underneath it

A week ago, European prices leaked: 1 449 € for the 18 Pro and 1 849 € for the Pro Max, which we discussed in the article about European pricing. The original price on Epto’s e-shop is 100 € higher for the base 18 Pro and 126 € higher for the Pro Max. The sale prices are then 50 € and 65 € lower than the leaked figures, so Xiaomi’s official price will most likely land somewhere between them.

Amounts ending in ,90 are typical for Epto, while Xiaomi rounds its recommended prices to 49,99 or 99,99 €. Notebookcheck adds that pre-launch catalog prices will still be adjusted for VAT in each country. Italy has a standard rate of 22 %, and Slovakia has 23 %, so with the same pre-tax price the phone would cost several euros more for us.

Velvet Red instead of pink and blue

Both models are listed in black, white, and red Velvet Red—a color we’ve only seen so far in leaked renders. In China they sell them in black, white, pink, and blue, and only the transparent edition has the red version there with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB. So Europe will get the standard red with a non-transparent back, but pink and blue are not in the catalog yet.

One of the older leaks for Europe also mentioned a blue Cosmic Blue, but the Italian store is missing it for both models—so we’ll see whether Xiaomi expands its color lineup at launch.

Smaller batteries are confirmed by the store too

The product descriptions match what the EU energy labels have already revealed. Xiaomi 18 Pro has a 6 000 mAh battery and 90 W charging, while the Chinese version has 7 000 mAh and 100 W. Pro Max drops from 8 500 to 7 050 mAh, but it keeps 100 W charging. The store lists battery life of 66 and 70 hours on a single charge, and 1 000 charging cycles for both batteries. The smaller model has a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and a Pro Max model, which the store describes as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. Depending on the model, the display is 6,4 or 6,9 inches, 120 Hz, and up to 4 000 nits of brightness, with a second display on the back as well. At the back, both versions have two 200 Mpx cameras and an additional 50 Mpx ultra-wide-angle, while in front there is a 50 Mpx selfie camera, and they will run on HyperOS 4.

Xiaomi has confirmed the global launch of the 18 Pro lineup by the end of the year, but the exact date is still missing. According to the Italian site TuttoAndroid, the debut could come in the next few days or weeks.
