September 24 / September 2019 is coming in unstoppable. A Xiaomi press conference has been announced for this date, where exciting new innovations are set to be unveiled. The Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro smartphone will be introduced, as well as a new addition to the Mi MIX series — Xiaomi Mi MIX 5G.
Along with them, the latest version of the MIUI overlay should also be officially released 11.
Decent fast charging
As it is customary for Xiaomi or Redmi, before the official launch of new products they share information about the upcoming devices. This time is no different either. An advertising poster appeared on the Chinese social network Weibo, informing about three charging methods of the new Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro.
The Mi Charge Turbo technology, which Xiaomi uses to name fast smartphone charging, will bring charging features worthy of the name “Turbo” to the expected model. The new Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro smartphone will have fast charging via the connected cable with power up to 40 W, but that’s not all.
Wireless charging will be 30 W. The smartphone will also have a reverse charging function, and another device will be able to charge with power up to 10 W from its own battery.
Xiaomi states that with 30-watt fast wireless charging, a smartphone with a 4000 mAh battery will charge from 0 to 50% in 25 minutes. The full charge will take 69 minutes. With wired 40 W charging, the 4000 mAh battery will be topped up in an amazing 48 minutes. That’s really fast charging!
