Xiaomi SU7: Here’s a look into the interior of the electric car
The electric vehicle market is thriving, and it knows it—so does the (now former) head of Xiaomi, Lei Jun. Among the latest models on the market, we can also include the incoming Xiaomi SU7. This model stands out not only with its remarkable design, but also with its technological equipment in the interior.
Xiaomi is betting on innovation not only when it comes to its smartphones or tablets, but also in the field of electric vehicles. So don’t expect a standard dashboard design compared to other automakers.
A futuristic design with a focus on comfort
Today, we’ll take a closer look at the released photos and information about the interior of the Xiaomi SU7. They appeared on the popular Chinese social network Weibo.
No, you don’t need a key for ignition anymore in this case either. However, Xiaomi surprised everyone, because in the original concept design it considered a unique shape for the start button that would include the company logo directly on this button.
Instead, there’s a simple “start-stop” button here that doesn’t include Xiaomi’s manufacturer logo. However, it has the shape or outline of the original “Mi” logo of Xiaomi, which we’ve known for 14 years. It points to the slogan that says “Xiaomi is with you on every journey.”
When it comes to the materials used in the interior, all of the glass parts of the Xiaomi SU7 reach up to 5.35 square meters. This provides a very transparent and clear field of view with a sense of openness. Likewise, the vehicle’s pillars aren’t overly thick, which improves visibility in road traffic.
A spacious interior and multimedia features
Along with the seating position of the driver and passenger, the car’s roof is shaped like an arch. This gives passengers plenty of headroom. The interior is also spacious and bright, depending on the configuration of that particular vehicle. The main viewing angle from the driver’s seat toward the steering wheel and the dashboard display is complemented by a rounded line of the dashboard, which also includes storage compartments.
