Our favorite Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi brings a new operating system HyperOS 2.1 update for the first batch of Xiaomi and POCO devices. The list also includes a tablet, not just smartphones.

This is the list of devices for which the global HyperOS 2.1 software is available.

The latest software features and optimization of internal apps, as well as performance and battery life. Everything is part of the new HyperOS 2.1 operating system update that’s now also rolling out to Europe for global customers.

Specifically, these devices:

• Xiaomi 14 Ultra
• Xiaomi 14T Pro
• Xiaomi 13 Pro
• Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 tablet
• POCO X6 Pro 5G

The rollout of new updates usually happens in multiple waves. So if you own the mentioned smartphone or tablet and you haven’t received the update yet, you’ll probably get it within the next few days.

Enhanced features, optimization of system animations, and a completely new LED battery

Bringing the latest features to the global customer is a major step by Xiaomi. The company aims to shorten the time gap between Chinese and global versions—both for hardware and software.

HyperOS in its latest version 2.1 builds on the features that the original HyperOS in version 1.0 and 2.0 brought to our smartphones.

Once again, system improvements play the main role; we can also look forward to enhanced elements in the user interface and optimized system animations. You’ll also be pleased with the new grid option “4×6”, provided you remove the search field.

A really interesting feature included in HyperOS 2.1 is also a flashlight. It’s not just the classic flashlight we’ve known for years thanks to the camera’s LED flash.
