Chinese holidays are over and Xiaomi rolled out 32 HyperOS updates: the September patch will reach 8 devices in the EU

After a pause over the Golden Week holiday period, Xiaomi has started pushing updates again. China has a week of public holidays at the start of October, so Xiaomi didn’t release new versions then. That’s why, right on October 8th, a large batch of new HyperOS versions appeared on Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO phone and tablet servers. Most of them include a September 2026 security patch.

The list was compiled by XiaomiTime, which counted 32 separate builds. The announcement itself mentions 31 versions—the difference comes only from how they were counted. Up to 26 builds have the September patch, while the remaining six still have the August one.

HyperOS update for European versions

Slovak owners are interested in builds labeled EEA. These go to devices officially purchased in Europe. The batch includes eight of them, and all come with the September patch. From the phones, you get it on POCO F7 Pro, POCO F6 Pro, and Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G—which is also sold as POCO X7.

For tablets, a new version arrived for Redmi Pad Pro 5G and the small Redmi Pad SE 8.7 in the Wi‑Fi version. Xiaomi 12T Pro was a surprise—it’s been on the market since autumn 2022. The phone is still running HyperOS 3 with Android 15, and the patch was delivered in the EU as well as in the global version.

Redmi 13C and Note 12 NFC stay on HyperOS 2

Two cheaper EU models received the September patch, but on an older system. Redmi 13C (also as POCO C65) and Redmi Note 12 NFC 4G remain on HyperOS 2 with Android 15. They won’t get new features—only security fixes.

Another eight devices received the global system version. On phones, it’s Redmi Note 14 4G, Note 14 Pro 4G, Note 15 Pro 4G and Note 15 5G (POCO M8 5G). Also, Xiaomi 13T Pro, Redmi A7 Pro (POCO C81), and again 12T Pro and Redmi Pad SE 8.7. Global builds are for phones bought outside the EU—often also ones people order from China in the global version.

Don’t expect new features in this batch

The change description is the same across all builds: an updated security patch and improved system protection. XiaomiTime doesn’t mention any other changes, and the build list channel doesn’t have them either. For now, we don’t know how large the packages are or how quickly they’ll be rolled out.

The news will come with HyperOS 4. Its global testing for Europe has been running since September, but so far only on a few models. Until then, phones on HyperOS 3 will only get patches like these.

How to check if the update is for you

You’ll find the system version in Settings > About phone. The letters before the XM suffix reveal the region: EU is the European version, MI is global, and CN is the Chinese one. The other builds in the batch are for Russia (RU), Türkiye (TR), Indonesia (ID), and Taiwan (TW).

Xiaomi updates are rolled out gradually, so it might not show up for you on day one. Besides others, the Chinese versions received Xiaomi 14 Ultra and 13 Ultra—but they’re still on the August patch. You can find an overview of builds for European and global versions in the table.
