These are Xiaomi’s director and founder’s three most popular smartphones

The chosen trio

Each smartphone that made it onto Lei Jun’s shortlist was well justified. Whether it’s premium ceramic craftsmanship, high performance, or a revolutionary design—every piece clearly stands out from the crowd.

First place in this list goes to Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 thanks to its gorgeous ceramic finish. The reason Lei Jun loves it so much is very simple—style and elegance are absolutely not missing.

According to him, the process of making the back cover is very long and demanding. He says each piece must be prepared at temperatures up to 1400°C and under strict conditions. No wonder the Mi MIX series is the most premium of the premium.

The second favorite model of Xiaomi’s creator is the legendary Xiaomi Mi 6. The Mi 6 combined several innovations in one. The device was among the first to be made from polished glass, complemented by a stainless-steel frame.

The smartphone also had an in-home-button fingerprint scanner and a dual-camera system. Many of us still remember the Mi 6 model as an excellent flagship phone with a smile on its face.

The trio is completed by the newest flagship smartphone from the Mi 10 line—Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. The Xiaomi CEO added it to his list again for a simple reason. It’s a true flagship “workhorse” for a great price.

He also points out that with the Mi 10 model range, Xiaomi decided to remove any price limits so they could bring fans a full-fledged flagship. Honestly, Xiaomi pulled it off exceptionally well.
