Beautiful minimalist design
Both products are excellent pieces in terms of design. The Oclean X Pro model took the same body from its predecessor—very nice and made with a premium feel.
Both models are made from solid, durable ABS plastic, and the great feel when using them only enhances it. The only difference is the brush colors — the base model is white and the Pro model is blue.
You also get protection against submersion in water for up to 30 minutes via IPX7 certification.
A toothbrush with a display?
Probably nobody will miss the 0,96″ LCD display with side touch sensors implemented at first glance.
It provides complete control over a wide range of tooth-cleaning settings, but it also lets you view the current weather, time, and date.
The whole system is extremely intuitive and designed for comfortable operation. Under the display, there’s a large physical button that takes you back to the home screen and starts or stops brushing.
In the system settings, you can easily set:
- cleaning mode – teeth whitening, classic cleaning, tooth massage, gentle cleaning
- turn the notification for changing the cleaned area on or off
- cleaning intensity in 1--32 levels
- brushing time from 2 to 3 minutes

After every teeth cleaning, you’ll get a clear report showing how long and how correctly you brushed. All information is captured and evaluated by the built-in 6-axis gyroscope.
Based on this, you can pay better attention to missed spots next time, helping you achieve healthier and nicer teeth. All cleanings are neatly stored in the Oclean app.
The Oclean X Pro model features a more advanced graphical interface on the display compared to the standard Oclean X model, showing more information about brushing.
Rotational performance
With this part, we get to one of the few differences between the Oclean X and Oclean X Pro models. The mentioned difference is the maximum number of oscillations the toothbrush heads can reach.
While the Oclean X model achieves a maximum of 40 000 oscillations per minute, the improved Oclean X Pro reached 42 000 oscillations per minute. It isn’t a major difference, but any improvement like this is definitely welcome.
Comfort on every side
The Oclean X and X Pro electric toothbrushes are split into two separate parts—the handle with the display and motor, and the brush head with bristles.
The high-quality DuPont bristles are specially shaped into a 3D arc for the most efficient and sensitive cleaning.
Thanks to their high density, brushing will be effective in any situation. Of course, the bristles on the Oclean X and Oclean X Pro are antibacterial to prevent various inflammations and other conditions. Again, the US FDA (Food and Drug Administration) certification is also included.
Connectivity
The Oclean X and Oclean X Pro toothbrushes come with Bluetooth connectivity. The Oclean X model offers Bluetooth version 4.0 and the newer Oclean X Pro has Bluetooth 4.2.
Using Bluetooth connectivity, the toothbrushes can connect to your smartphone and then send brushing data to the Oclean app. It’s available for both Android device owners and iOS users.
In the app, you can view data from individual cleanings, set up or create brushing profiles, and also sort and share profiles among family members.
Battery and battery life
Another factor, among many similar parameters, is battery capacity and its runtime. Both models have a battery with a capacity of 800 mAh. The manufacturer states a runtime of 30 days for both models.
