Design & Display: 120 Hz AMOLED on both generations
At first glance, the two devices are very similar in size. With the exception of sharper edges on the newer Redmi Note 11 Pro (5G), the size difference is really only at the millimeter level. The display plays a big role here. In both cases, you get a 6.67″ AMOLEDpanel with Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) and a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
The display also adapts to the content you’re viewing on your smartphone. The advantage of the newer device is slightly higher standard brightness and a high sampling rate of up to 360 Hz, which gamers of more graphically demanding titles will especially appreciate.

Performance: Newer 5G processor
The topic of discussion about the Redmi Note 10 Pro device was specifically the used processor – Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G (336 250 points on AnTuTu). A mid-range processor with 5G connectivity offered slightly worse performance than the previous year’s, slightly more competitive Snapdragon 765G model. Even so, the smartphone is quite fast even when doing more demanding multitasking, which our review also confirmed.
If you want higher performance after all, you can go for the newer Redmi Note 11 Pro (5G), which features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6955G (405,259 points on AnTuTu). It should deliver smooth operation for gaming titles, as well as practical multitasking—made even better by the new MIUI 13 system.
Camera: 108 MP in both versions
The camera setup is also very similar, at least when it comes to the main camera sensor. In both cases, you get a 108 MP main sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and support for Dual-Pixel PDAF technology.
In the previous Note 10 Pro model, the main sensor is complemented by a 8 MP ultra-wide sensor (118°), a 5 MP macro sensor, and a 2 MP depth sensor for background blur. In this case, the front camera has 16 MP (f/2.5) and is housed in a cutout at the top of the screen.
The new Redmi Note 11 Pro (5G) offers, besides the main sensor, a 8 MP ultra-wide sensor (118°), a 2 MP macro sensor, and also an AI sensor for background blur. The 16 MP (f/2.4) front camera is also located in a cutout, inside the display.

Battery: The new generation brings up to twice as fast charging
With the battery capacity, you can only spot a minimal difference (5020 mAh vs 5000 mAh) in favor of last year’s smartphone. However, there’s a noticeable difference in charging speed. The Note 10 Pro model offers 33 W fast charging.
While the Note 11 Pro (5G) comes with an upgrade in the form of 67 W fast charging. With this phone, you’ll reach 100% in just 36 minutes, and the fast charger is also included directly in the box.
Price and availability of Redmi smartphones
The Redmi Note 10 Pro is still on sale, and on offer from international sellers it’s priced at roughly from €250. If you need a new smartphone urgently, it’s a sensible buy even in 2022.
